Frequently Asked Questions

Q: "Why does Internet Explorer constantly pop up with an "Active Content" warning on your site?"

A: Every page on the Actus Reus site has a JavaScript mouseover menu (when you point the mouse at
the picture, a menu drops down). This menu is on the left side of all pages except the non-current
comics' pages, where it's between the "Previous" and "Next" buttons.

This Javascript won't hurt your computer in any way, so it's recommended that you set your web browser
to allow active content for the easiest navigation around the site. If you don't know how to do this, go HERE.

Q: "Your comic is HUGE! It's taking forever to load/too big for my monitor!"

A: Sorry, guys! The comic's the right size for the layout I want, and at the balance of quality and load
time that I like it to be at. I don't have any plans to make the comic smaller.

May I suggest getting a faster internet connection/larger monitor?
It'll make the Internet much more fun, trust me.

Q: "What program did you use for ________?"

A: Program credits are as follows...

Comic editing/layout/wording: "Adobe Photoshop CS2"

JavaScript menus/character sheet: "UltraMenu"

FTP: "SmartFTP"

Site design/layout: "Microsoft Frontpage"

Site hosting provided by ComicGenesis.
